Tech Sector Top Gainers – Nokia Corporation, Adobe Systems Incorporated, Salesforce.com, OIBR, GTAT, Sohu.com 

The reason behind failure of Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is lack of flexibility in US emerging markets. After just three years of enormous restructuring that was assumed to revive Nokia, the former global mobile communications giant, the company has disappeared. Sohu.com Inc (NASDAQ:SOHU) discusses special dividend distribution.  It is China’s leading online media, search, gaming, community and mobile service group, announced that its majority owned search subsidiary Sogou Inc. has paid to the holders of Series A,  preferred Shares of Sogou (Series A Preferred Shares) a special dividend in the aggregate amount of $300,892,698. Sohu.com Inc (NASDAQ:SOHU) shares up 12.35% to $76.13 in last trading session.

Oi SA (ADR) (NYSE:OIBR) shares gained 2.14% to $1.91. The company has declared an unexpected loss and reduction of its dividend payment. The company’s net loss was BRL124.2 million in the second quarter. The data showed that the stated quarter is its initial unprofitable period. The company also announced it will no longer issue assistance due to macroeconomic uncertainty. Oi SA (ADR) (NYSE:OIBR) shares rose 9.63% to $2.05 in last trading session.
